A delicious Greek cookie that
is always made at Christmas time in my house. These melt in your mouth.
Soften butter at room temperature until
very soft. Cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks
and beat thoroughly. Sift flour and baking powder. Mix into batter
mixture. Add nuts. Sprinkle dough with whiskey. Knead thoroughly. Roll out
dough and make into desired shapes. Bake on cookie sheet at 350 degrees
for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar after cookies are
cooled.
