1/2 cup oil
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2-1/2 lb steak, sliced thin
2 green peppers, sliced into strips
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 cup tomato sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup sliced mushrooms
Heat oil, garlic and
ginger in large pan or wok. Add beef slices. Cook over high heat for 5
minutes, stirring constantly. Remove meat; add peppers, onions and
mushrooms to remaining oil and cook 5 minutes. Add soy sauce, tomato sauce
and sugar; cook about 3 minutes. Add meat and cook until heated.
